I'm new to this group, and really need advice for a writing curriculum that is easy to use or teach. My son, who is in 8th grade, is ADHD, very visual, hates busy work and writing, and needs help organizing. If anyone has a child like this and has successfully used anything (in any subject) that they feel has really helped for this age and beyond, I would appreciate it! Thank you and God bless!
Hello,
Is this the correct forum to sell books, or just the Cathswap Chat forum? I was redirected to this site at the Yahoo Groups site, but I do not see any items for sale. Help. I do like the emoticons option, though.

I apologize if this has been explained numerous times over and I have missed something.

Thanks.

I will be entering year three of homeschooling my soon to be six year old daughter who will be on second grade level. I homeschooled my son from 10th grade through 12th grade. I currently have a three year old daughter who will be four in November. She is a little "spicy" baby from Hunan, China and "demands" to do school daily. I have purchased her workbooks at Wal-mart, etc. but she knows they are not "school" books like her sister's. I am interested in hearing ...

Just wondering - do you have one? How do you set it up? Do you use school desks? Tables? Regular desks?

I'm working on setting up my home office which will also be the

classroom {we're using CHC and it calls for lots of stuff on walls, etc} and I know I'm

going to have to watch ahead for furniture deals so I'm trying to

figure out what I want in there.

I've already got bookcases for putting school books on {I buy ahead in

The ISBN number is 0393975681 if you want to look at it. I used it in my freshman year at Franciscan University of Steubenville Ohio. I had bought it used so there is some pen writing and a little highlighting. A very good book with interesting biographies and excellent literature.

Hi there-

I'm hoping someone who has used this program can answer these:

Is it necessary for me to do the "Teaching Writing: Structure and Style" BEFORE I use the "Student Wrting Intensive" with my kids?

Is it possible to use the "Theme-Based Writing" books without using either of the above?

Any comments regarding the Advanced Spelling & Vocabulary books?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to clue me in!
