Bible/Scripture study for 6th & 7th graders

I'm looking for input from seasoned hsers. My two oldest would like to do "real" Bible study next year. They will be in 7th grade (dd) and 6th grade (ds). They do not like the Bible History book they currently use. I fear the "teen" bibles and bible studies will be over their heads or will cover sexuality in ways that would not be good for their young ages. And a lot of "children's" bibles and bible studies are too "beneath" their age level.

Any suggestions?
